</a><br />Two-time USA Mountain Running Team member Tommy Manning finished second in the XTERRA Cheyenne Mountain State Park 24K on Saturday. He wasn't all that happy with his finishing time (1:32:13), but says he is looking forward to bigger races this year. Manning will compete in the Mt. Washington Hill Climb in New Hampshire, where the 2012 U.S. Mountain Running Team will be selected. The top six U.S. finishers will qualify to run in the world championships. He's also planning to return to Pikes Peak. Manning finished second in the Pikes Peak Ascent in 2009 and 2011.
