Reindl chased Tommy Manning, 36, for the first five miles as the course ascended some steep pitches, then made his move on a descent of High Drive.<br /> "I just used my long strides to get by him," Reindl said. "On the trails I'm better on the downhills than I am going up."<br /> Reindl, who said he prefers road racing (5K and 10K) to trails, finished in 1 hour, 22 minutes, 52 seconds. The Colorado Running Company/Inov-8 duo of Manning and Peter Maksimow, 33, ran home in second and third places respectively. Manny posted a 1:24:19 with Maksmow crossing the line 1:25:28.<br /> In the women's race. Amy Friedman, 36, took her second victory on the trails in as many weeks. She won Saturday's half marathon in 1:38:30, with Kelli Lusk, 42, clocking 1:46:46 for second place. Katie Katalan, 42, finished third in 2:03:38. Friedman, who teaches overseas, claimed the XTERRA 24K title at Cheyenne Mountain State Park last week.
