He has watched the transformation of the old cog railway bed from a secret haunt of a few local mountain runners to the most heavily used hiking trail in the Pikes Peak Region. And recently he's noticed something else on the Incline - trash and dog poop, and lots of it. And the litter problem, he says, keeps getting worse. So Everson has taken action. He has provided plastic bags in a container at the base of the Incline, and he is trying to educate the public by spreading the word on Facebook, PikesPeakSports.us and other networks.<br />
"What I hope to get is for people to not only pick up their trash but to take it home with them," he said.
