John Teisher and John Haney sprinted to a tie at the finish, with each clocking 21 minutes, 17 seconds. Deb Janssen won the women's race, while her good dog Laika was the first-placed four-legged runner. Janssen finished in 24:10, but said she could have gone faster. It seems Laika was distracted by the deer and rabbits along the course, then made a pit stop to pee. Priorities among runners do vary sometimes. 5K Run/Walk for Hope 2011 and Paws for a Cause Dog Walktag:pikespeaksports.us,2011-06-25:5021591:Video:1668702011-06-25T20:01:39.301ZTim Bergstenhttp://pikespeaksports.us/profile/TimBergsten
