It's easy to like smiling Geofrey Terer, winner of the Summer Roundup Trail Run. He finally got a win there after twice finishing second. Tere covered the 12K course in 38 minutes, 46 seconds, a few strides ahead of Joe Gray (38:52) and Andy Wacker (38:58).

Tim Scott explains "Alternative B" for the Bear Creek Watershed

Mountain bike riders and other trail users packed the house at USA Cycling on Wednesday, March 19. They came to learn about trail closures and possible reroutes of trails in the Bear Creek Watershed, an area that contains miles of excellent cycling terrain. The U.S. Forest Service has closed much of the area while an environmental assessment is completed. The Forest Service must take action to protect a pure strain of the greenback cutthroat trout, Colorado's State fish, which lives in Bear Creek. Three plans are on the table for debate with "Alternative B" favored by the Forest Service and most trail users.
