Jack Quinn's Running Club: 20,000 and counting

James Jones just wanted to give the Jack Quinn's Running Club a try.
On Tuesday he ran for the first time and became an instant celebrity.
When Jones checked in after his run, the computer program that keeps track of the total number of individual runner said he was the club's 20,000th individual runner.
"I've driven past and I see the runners and I've always wished I could be here," Jones said. "I finally came down to give it a try. It was good timing, I guess."
The 29-year-old Navy reservist was presented with a $25 gift certificate from Jack Quinn's.
It was a huge night for the club's long-time members. Jeff Chowning became one of a few who have completed 200 runs, while Jeff Fuller and Kalie Maltby each joined the "Century Club' after completing 100 runs.
