An affordable race that gives something back, the Cheyenne Mountain Trail Race 50/25/10K on April 30th supports Achilles Pikes Peak, a nonprofit that helps athletes with disabilities to live active lives.
Runners will ply the rolling trails in Cheyenne Mountain State Park, at the base of iconic Cheyenne Mountain. The course very is runnable with just enough technical to keep you awake.
The 25K course comes with an altitude gain of about 1,700 feet. Our 50K runners will make two laps on the 25K course.
The 10K uses many of the same trails, and includes all the views. And this park is gorgeous in the springtime.
