DESCRIPTION:This is your opportunity to experience the Dixon Trail bef
 ore it is open to the public! There are two distances to race: 3 M 
 and ~10 M. This is the 3rd annual trail race and the race gets longe
 r each year, as more of the trail is completed. By 2018, we hope to 
 have a race to the top of CM. The 10 M race starts at 10:00 AM follow
 ed by the 3 M race at 10:15 AM Race maps can be viewed on the Friends
  of CMSP website. The exact distance of the ~10 M race will be announc
 ed race day. There will be six water stops on the course, however, run
 ners are encouraged to carry their own water so that it is available w
 hen needed. El Paso County Search & Rescue will be out on the racecou
 rse to provide emergency response.\nThis race is presented by the Fri
 ends of Cheyenne Mountain State Park a 510(c)3 nonprofit organization.
  Race proceeds will be used to help fund the building of the Dixon Tra
 il to the top of CM.\nTech-Shirts for all. Overall and age group Awar
 ds. Cost: 3 Mile $25, 10 Mile $40. Race-day fees increase to $35 and $
 50. Event fee includes park entrance fee.\nPlease register at Friendso
