SUMMARY:The 5th Paint Mines 6K Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Paint Mines 6k is a fun event that winds through the i
 ncredibly scenic trails of Paint Mines Park. It is a short but challen
 ging course that attracts some of the most accomplished trail runners 
 in the area. Runners and walkers of ALL ages and abilities are invited
  to participate.\n\n2011 marks the 5th anniversary of this run. The ev
 ent is put on by the American Trail Running Association, a Colorado-ba
 sed 501 (c) 3 not for profit corporation founded in 1996, as a fundrai
 ser. ATRA provides a donation to Boy Scout Troop 14 of Calhan who help
 s with course marking and support on race day. The Colorado Running Co
 mpany provides the timing and results. Dan Cleveland is the race annou
 ncer.\nClick here to register online.Fee is $20 through June 30, $25 J
 uly 1- July 29, and $30 on race day. Registrants will receive a one-da
 y pass to the El Paso County Fair. Please consider making an additiona
 l tax deductible contribution to El Paso County Parks and/or ATRA with
  your entry. Event is a fundraiser for ATR A, a 501 (c ) 3 non-profit
