DESCRIPTION:The City of Salida Recreation Department will host three c
 ommunity track meets over the summer. Events will vary at each meet bu
 t will include field events, shorter distances appropriate for small c
 hildren, longer distance events and relay races. All meets will take p
 lace at the Salida High School outdoor track. The May 20th meet is als
 o a qualifier for the State Hershey Track Meet for youth ages 9 - 14 a
 s part of the Hershey's Track and Field series. All ages are invited a
 nd encouraged to participate in all meets. Cost is $2/meet for kids/st
 udents and $4 per meet for adults. Meets will run from 5:45 pm - 7:30
