DESCRIPTION:Special Kids Special Families will hold its 2nd Annual Oct
 o8k/1k Special Run & Wheelchair Derby on Saturday, October 4th startin
 g at 9am at the University Village Colorado at 5280 N Nevada Avenue in
  Colorado Springs.  Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are
  welcome to attend!   All proceeds from the event will benefit SKSF 
 programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities and s
 pecial needs.  Participants will also be able to enjoy a Business Exp
 o where various companies will be displaying information and offering 
 free services.  The Wheelchair Derby, which will begin at 9:30am, is 
 a special attraction designed for individuals in wheelchairs in which 
 they’ll be guided through a maze like course encouraging them to the
  finish line for a special prize at the end.  \n \nDon’t miss the 
 early bird registration discount!  Discounted race fees for 8k $30; 1
 k$20; Derby $10. Team pricing up to 15 people $250.  Kids 15 & under 
 receive discount.  All registered participants will receive an event 
 t-shirt, refreshments and “swag bag” that will include coupons, ve
