DESCRIPTION:The Kokopelli Kids Trail Running Series is designed to int
 roduce children pre-school through 8th grade to the sport of trail run
 ning in a fun, challenging and rewarding environment. Kids will learn 
 how to run the on trails, they will learn to pace themselves and they 
 will learn that running can be fun and rewarding. Running is no longer
  a form of punishment! The Series will kick off with a clinic hosted b
 y 1985 Boston Marathon Champion - Lisa Rainsberger who will go over tr
 aining tips, nutritional ideas, how to pace yourself and she will go o
 ver the importance of quality running shoes. The Kick Off will take pl
 ace at the Boulder Running Company Wednesday, April 28th 6:00 pm. Disc
 ounts on running shoes and equipment will be offered, we will go over 
 the details of the Series and kids will be encouraged to ask questions
 ! This clinic is optional. Parents and/or kids who register for the ra
 ce and who purchase running shoes at Boulder Running Company on April 
 28th will receive a $5.00 discount off the Series cost.\n\n\nEvent Dat
