DESCRIPTION:The Kokopelli Kids Trail Running Series is designed to int
 roduce children pre-school through 8th grade to the sport of trail run
 ning in a fun, challenging and rewarding environment. Kids will learn 
 how to run the on trails, they will learn to pace themselves and they 
 will learn that running can be fun and rewarding. Running is no longer

 he North: Take 1-25 to hwy. 24 West. Follow hwy. 24 to 21st St. Head s
 outh onto 21st St. until Rio Grade St. Go East (left) onto Rio Grande 
 ¼ mile to the entrance of Bear Creek Park on the right. Follow the si
 gns into Bear Creek Park and follow the signs and volunteer will direc
 t you where to park.\nComing from the South: Take Cheyenne Road head w
 est to Cresta. Head north (right) onto Cresta and follow Cresta at whi
 ch point the road changes names to 21st Street. Follow 21st St. to Rio
  Grande Go east (right) onto Rio Grande ¼ mile to the entrance of Bea
 r Creek Park on the right. Follow the signs into Bear Creek Park and f
