DESCRIPTION:Doherty High School is hosting the “Half the Sky Foundat
 ion 5K”. Entry fees will go toward Doherty’s fund raising project 
 for this foundation. This fund raising is done to help Dr. Alex Costan
 tinides, who lost his wife and three daughters in a flash flood in Wyo
 ming when the road was washed away beneath them.\nOnsite registration 
 begins at 6:30 a.m.\nDr. Alex survived. His daughters were adopted “
 China dolls”. Half the Sky Foundation’s mission is to enrich the l
 ives and enhance the prospects of orphaned children in China who wait 
 to be adopted, and those who will spend their childhood in orphanages.
  The Foundation is named for the Chinese adage, “Women hold up half 
 the sky” to denote the fact that the vast majority of healthy babies
