 range of Colorado . It was started with the intent to kick off the tra
 il running season by offering a variety of distances to suit your runn
 ing needs. Run in the Greenland Open Space of southern Douglas County 
 , the Greenland Trail 50K strives to be the premier 50K in Colorado.\n
 Course maps\nDirections:\nGreenland Open Space is located four miles s
 outh of Larkspur (10 miles south of Castle Rock) and six miles north o
 f Monument (20 miles north of Colorado Springs). Take 1-25 to exit 167
 , travel west 1/4 mile and then south 1/2 mile to the Greenland trailh
 ead. There is limited parking at this parking lot. Overflow parking is
  located just over the railroad tracks at the Spruce Mountain parking
