DESCRIPTION:Starting 1 mile west of Centennial Park, at Canon City’s
  brand new pedestrian bridge, participants will dash into town through
  the Whitewater Park, splash through the feature play wave in front of
  cheering crowds, charge under 4th St bridge and finish by landing the
 ir boat at the train depot take out. The river may be raging so expect
  highwater and numerous obstacles. Participants should be comfortable 
 being on and in the water! This event will be run in waves of 12 at ap
 proximately every 30 minutes Duckies, personal floatation devices, and
