DESCRIPTION:When: May 5th - Cinco De Mayo - and 6th* 2012 Distance:�
 �Military Sprint distance will be approximately 4 miles give or take a
  few extra special forces surprises! Obstacles:This Military Sprint w
 ill be similar to the Spartan Sprint with additional obstacles designe
 d by the 4th Infantry and Specials Forces units.  A big difference is
  this race has its own rules and rankings which is why it will also ha
 ve VERY unique Military medals and a different T-shirt.  Spartan Seas
 on Pass holders are not eligible for the Military Series events.Start 
 Times: Heats start at 9am with up to 250 racers per heat and continui
 ng every 30 minutes throughout the day. Enter the 9am “Elite” heat
  if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the bes
 t.Aid Stations: None… hydrate before and/or carry your own water on
  the course. Or plan on drinking nasty retention pond water while you 
 are sloshing through it (not recommended).Festival Area: Cinco De May
 o themed Festival Party.All Racers Receive:\n\n- Finishers Medal- T-Sh
 irt- Free Beer ticket for anyone 21 and over- Bragging Rights- Free Mu

  available). As a Spartan Race spectator, you get $5 Spartan bucks red
 eemable at the merchandise tent, a festival map, and rad access to som
 e obstacles on the course, the epic Gladiator pit and finish line, and
  the vendor tents! So enjoy the live music and watching your friends a
 nd loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the safety 
 and comfort (and relative mudlessness) of the Spartan Race festival gr
 ound areas! Raffles, entertainment, free muddy hugs from Spartan athle
