 u Springs, the U.S. Forest Service and The Pikes Peak Highway, are pro
 ud to introduce the inaugural version of “Assault on the Peak”, a 
 cycling event to the top of Pikes Peak. This event will be a timed, no
 n-competitive event for the first 1500 riders wishing to challenge the
  most famous mountain in America. It begins at 7 a.m. at Memorial Park
  in Manitou Springs. There is still time to register online.\nAnd, beg
 inning at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park, The Third Annual Peak Region Cycli
 st Bicycle Festival will run in conjunction with Assault on the Peak. 
 Free admission. Come down and enjoy the day in the sun!\nBike shops, b
 ike frame-builders, bike manufacturers from across Colorado, bicycle a
 dvocacy groups, trail building groups, bicycle non-profits, anything a
