DESCRIPTION:The inaugural Arkansas River Bluegrass Marathon and Half M
 arathon will take place on Sunday, May 29 at 9:00am.\nThe race will fe
 ature a scenic, USATF certified course consisting of a 13.1 mile loop 
 on county roads surrounding Salida. Live bluegrass music, beer and foo
 d will be available to all participants and spectators following the r
 ace at Riverside Park from noon - 4pm.\nThe race is limited to 300 ent
 ries, register online at RunningGuru.com.\nAwards featuring local busi
 nesses and artists will be given to the top male and female competitor
 s in both events. Unique finishers medals will be given to both marath
 on and half marathon finishers. 100 cash prize for overall male and fe
 male Chaffee county half-marathon finishers.\nPacket pickup will be av
 ailable Saturday evening or Sunday morning before the race at Thonhoff
  Park.\nThis race is organized by the Chaffee County Running Club with
  support from the Salida Recreation Department and the Rotary Club. Th
 ere will be a 3 ½ hour time limit for all half marathon competitors a
 nd a 6 hour time limit for all marathoners. Race will be limited to 30
 0 competitors so register early.\nRace entry fee includes a t-shirt, l
 unch at the Bluegrass Festival and a soak at the Salida Hot Springs Aq
