 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou may have heard about the Great Pumpkin Run at Vene
 tucci Farm sponsored by the  Pikes Peak Community Foundation.   But
 , we own another property called Aspen Valley Ranch in Woodland Park a
 nd we would like to invite you to participate in an inaugural “trial
 ” fun run at the ranch on Saturday, September 24th.   Like the Pumpk
 in Run, the course will be entirely on dirt roads and trails. Unlike t
 he Pumpkin Run, it is an extremely challenging course starting at 8500
  ft above sea level with a vertical gain of more than 1100 feet. The r
 un is approximately 5.5 miles. It will be wheeled between now and the 
 race.We are calling this a “trial” run as we are looking for feedb
 ack on the course. It is an old fashioned “Fun Run” to simply get 
 a good workout and be with others who enjoy running. In lieu of awards
  we will be giving each participant a wooden aspen leaf as a memento o
 f this first time event. Timing will not be high tech but we will post
  names and times for those who participate. For those who want to stop
  at one of the high points for a photo opportunity there is a beautifu
 l Paul Hathaway sculpture called the “Ecstasy Statue” at about 960
 0 ft. I think you will find this a great workout and an experience not
