 \nDescription: This event is a fundraiser for the Counseling Departmen
 t at Discovery Canyon Campus. The proceeds will be used for school-wid
 e counseling programs such as bully, alcohol, and tobacco prevention, 
 funding for student clubs, scholarships for High Trails, and character
  education.\nCourse Description: We have a new course for this year. T
 he race will be entirely on-campus, with a double loop around the scho
 ol. The race will start and end with a downhill slope. The course will
  be on dirt trails, sidewalks and paved surfaces.\nDirections to start
 : From I-25 take the Gleneagle Exit. Turn right off of the exit. Glene
 agle will turn into North Gate Blvd. Discovery Canyon is at 1810 North
  Gate, on the left hand side of the road. From HWY 83, turn west on No
 rth Gate Road. DCC will be on the right hand side of the road. Packet 
 pickup will be at the 9-12 Campus Entrance, and the race will start at
  the Upper Track, about a 5 minute walk from the school.\nParking: Par
 king is free at the campus.\nAwards Info: Handmade medals will be give
 n to all grade-level winners, and age group winner. All runners can en
 ter into drawings for different prizes at the race from our sponsors\n
 Additional Info: The Kids Fun Run be at 8:15, the race will start at 8
 :30. No registration fee is needed for the Fun Run.\nCourse Route The 
 race will start, and end, at the Discovery Canyon Campus. Along the wa
 y, you will run through the trail system in Flying Horse Ranch. The fi
 nal course has not been finalized, as the street/trail/sidewalk system
  in the community always growing!\nRace Photos: Race Day photos will b
 e available through Running Guru.\nPacket Pickup: Packet Pickup will s
 tart at 7 a.m. on Race Day at the 9-12 Upper Campus Entrance. This is 
 the eastern set of doors to the campus. The race start is about a 3-5 
 minute walk from this location, so please plan accordingly.\nRegistrat
 ion Info: All Discovery Canyon, Antelope Trails, and daVinci Academy S
 tudents are $14, other runners under 18 are $15. All adult runners are
  $22. All runners will receive a T-shirt and breakfast from the DCC PT
 O. You can also purchase breakfasts for non-runners through during rac
