DESCRIPTION:This is a great local event that brings out top athletes f
 rom our area and from all across the region.  Awards are given to the
  top male and female competitors as well as the top three male and fem
 ale finishers in each age category.  If you don’t want to take on t

 the Salida Hot Springs Pool.       Water temperature on race day
  will be 80°-82°.\nBike: 40K (25 miles) - Two loops on county roads 
 and state highways.  Road bikes are recommended.\nRun: 10K (6.2 miles
 ) -  Out-and-back along trail system, paved and dirt roads; hilly.\nN
